Maleny Golf Course

This was a new course in 2013, on the site of the future Maleny Golf Course. The start / finish area is the existing Driving Range. We are extremely grateful to the Golf Course folks for inviting us to use their expansive tract of land for our cross country. In addition, they have offered a great deal by way of resources, staffing and other to make our run there a success.

One feature that parents will appreciate is that you can see the shorter races in their entirety from the start / finish area, as the kids run down a slope and away, turn and return. In fact, you can see most of the long course as well.

Directions: From the Sunshine Coast, go through Landsborough and up the hill on the Landsbourough-Maleny Road. As you enter Maleny, on your right in the space of a hundred meters you will pass the Hotel; Woolworths; go straight through a roundabout; then turn right at the ANZ Bank. Proceed up the hill, following Obi Lane. You will see Golf Club signs, then of course the cross country banners. It is 2.5km from the ANZ Bank to the Golf Course.

Note that the right hand image below does not show the actual course. It was taken when the committee examined the course. The course itself will however be mainly based on the larger loop shown, and the image will be updated after the first race on that course.
